akibun 0
Hi! I think it is good idea for separating the garbage into burning one and not burn, etc. My friend from UK told me that they do not do this back home, I was quite surprised. Is it in your country like this??
Raury 0
We don't separate like that, but a lot of councils do recycle/green/the rest. When I lived by myself, I used to put out 2 recycle bins (60L) every fortnight, and about 20L of the rest. All my green waste went into a compost bin made from 4 pallets. damian 0
does Japan really recycle that much, or does it simply burn what it can and bury what it cant? At least it isn't burning heavy plastics which no doubt produce some pretty nasty smoke.
scouser 4
In the UK, unless things have changed, everything gets put in the same rubbish bin. Then the guys come and pick it up, and the council do their stuff separating things.
mattlucas 0
I bet all the Japanese garbage goes to the same place. In Canada cans, bottles, unsoiled paper and other things are recyled. But plastic and food waste goes to the dump.
