slow 0
I have only seen Fawlty Towers and it's 5th! I'm pretty happy about that!
NoFakie 45
Can you call Terry and June a comedy?
Raury 0
For me, the top ten would be: Blackadder Fawlty Towers Yes Minister Absolutely Fabulous The Young Ones Father Ted Red Dwarf Birds of a Feather The Brittas Empire Men Behaving Badly Keeping Up Appearances Probably not accurate, seeing I haven't watched TV for a long time. A lot of those shows never made it to AU, so I don't know if they are any good or not.
bobby12 0
er...hang on a minute...wasnt MONTY PYTHON a comedy??!?!? Monty Python is the undisputed king of comedy world wide, so why isnt it in this list???
white-void 0
"Sitcoms" is the word here I think.
sanjo 2
22 Some Mothers Do 'Ave 'Em Number 22, quite surprising. I remember Hi-De-Hi being my grans favourite, and very annoyoing of course.
IIIII 2
Open All Hours? Eeee?! I've just been watching the Blackadder dvds the last few weeks - excellent.
giggsy 0
I used to really like Red Dwarf - mates got it on dvd, I'm still wondering whether to watch it or not - aged well or not is the issue.
Dims 0
Only fools and horses, I really want to see that. Don't think it made it to OZ. Seen most of the rest though, some great comedies there. G-g-g-g-granville! (Open all hours) Are you being served.....I wonder how well that one's aged, and how Mrs Slocombe's pussy is?
oblivion 5
You got Open all hours, but not Only fools..?? Worth a watch. I haven't seen most of them for years, but used to really like it. I wonder if its on dvd.
miteyak 0
Just got the first three series for 29.99UKP from amazon UK. Only got that in U.S. format though. Got the office and phoenix nights (takes some getting into, but ended up being pretty funny) on a recent trip to blightey, along with the rest of the league of gentlemen. Coupled with the complete black adder series, complete fawlty towers and a selection of monty python movies, my brit com collection is starting to be rather respectable. nzlegend 1
Dibley is #3!!! and Absolutely F***ed is 17! OMG! I cant believe some people, must have been a lot of female respondents thats all I can say. There is no accounting for taste. Still how Frank Spenser (#22)couldnt make the top 10 is mind boggling, for me it would be the equivalent of the Godfather not making a top 10 movies or Led Zeppelin not making the music top 10 Flabbergasted.
