Jinja 0
Lin, Aha, you must be non-English/American, right? With the lyrics quote from a Communards song (I'm guessing), and the winking smiley, how many more hints do you need to figure out he was joking? Duh. Here ends my sarcy reply for the day. BagOfCrisps 24
Saw one of them things in a sports shop today in London. It was huge, spoke to the shop people about it (mainly because I knew a bit from reading about it here). They said people were interested, but they hadn't yet sold one of them. People thinking it were too expensive. There was a much cheaper thing selling for 80 quid that was getting more attention and more sales - the name escapes me right now. I'd like to give it a go though, looks like fun to me.
SKI 15
I'm not a snowboarder, but that sure looks fun wouldn't mind giving it a try.
mindbomb 0
Looks like a curious machine, bet you get looks. Wouldn't mind a try myself either.
blinkin'ek 0
I want one of them things. If I have enough cash left over at the end of winter.
sunrise 0
This reminds me - whatever happened to grass skiing? Does it still exist?
Ocean11 0
There are a few places around here with that kind of thing, but it's usually on plastic matting rather than grass (and not many takers by the looks of it). That used to be quite popular in some parks in Bristol in the early 80s...

base40 0
I've known about that since last year and I'm going to get one of them this year, saving up now. Good to read all the info about it here. Cheers.
1 4
After reading all about this, and your review etc, I think I'm going to take the plunge and get one of these monsters. Will let you know how it goes over summer.

JEZx 0
I'm thinking of doing the same. It looks better than the other alternatives out there. The Freebord doesn't look that much fun compared
Ocean11 0
I'd agree with that. The Dirtsurfer feels like a sport in itself.
grungy-gonads 54
Is the thing collapsible? (sp) or is it just huge all the time?
Ocean11 0
You can take the wheels off and make it a bit smaller, but otherwise no. It's about the same length as a (my) snowboard.
rajeem 0
It looks really interesting and I'd like to give it a try sometime.
