on the up-side, if u in fact visited czechoslovakia, before it it separated, u can count one for the czech republic, and one for slovakia.

I would say that that is only valid if you visited some places which became Slovakia and others which became the Czech Republic.

SBF, it was pretty amazing. I went with some friends for a long weekend from London a couple of years ago. The volcanic landscape and almost complete lack of trees gives Iceland a certain austere beauty. Exactly what one would expect from a place at the end of the world.

 

Outside of Reykjavik, the place is virtually desserted and quite peaceful. We went in June so we pretty much had constant daylight which in itself was pretty amazing.

 

It is a bit far to go from Japan, but its one of those places I will definitely return to one day.
