I'm not old enough to drive yet - another few years. " title="" src="graemlins/cry.gif" /> But my dad says that lessons here in Japan are crazy expensive compared to other countries. Does anyone know more about this?

That is very true, but I don't know any exact amounts, or even rough estimates for that matter. I've just heard that it is ridiculous. On the other hand as small of a country this is and as large of a population it has, it was probably wise of them to overprice driving lessons.

anywhere from 300000 to 600000 to learn how to drive here from what I have seen. You dont need to take the lessons but like anything else here they make you cram so much information in that its hard to do it by yourself.

I've heard much bigger numbers as well. A costly business for sure.

Do they allow you on roads here? All I see are those funny little self contained "mini driving worlds" that people practice on.
