rach 1
Some good games this weekend I think Souness would make a good Bond Baddie.
connackers 0
Anyone know if the Spain England game will be shown on BS something or terrestrial? Sky`s starting to look more and more tempting!
big-will 7
I don't think its on that one.
NoFakie 45
Souness isn't sophisticated enough to be a Bond villian. The only man worthy of that role in the Premiership is Mourinho. He's got that cool, dismissive and unwavering self-belief. Being foreign helps as well. It wasn't a bad game on Sunday, but for a team that are supposed to be "back", ManYoo weren't very impressive. It took a(nother) dodgy penalty for the game to go their way.
scouser 4
Too right, he would make a good baddy. He reminds me of a Thunderbird as well for some strange reason.

BagOfCrisps 24
I'll be watching it, but I just wish they'd forget the stoopid friendlies. What is the point? Sven looked ever so sad when he said he could only make 6 substitues.
rach 1
What a rubbish waste of time game that was. Rooney looked pretty out of it at some points like he was going to explode or something. A bit strange. What a waste of time and energy. I just become less and less interested in internationals.
scouser 4
Did you hear the "monkey chants" every time Ashley Cole or Wright Philips got the ball? As you said a complete waste of time. And Rooney - he's seems ever more likely to be a sure case of self-destruct in the not to distant future.
2pints-mate 0
Just pathetic. The Top 3 on the Pathetic Rankings 1) The racist chants 2) Rooney 3) The general performance Pa. Thetic.
Honest John 0
It was a complete shambles, and Rooney showed what basically a dickhead he is. I hope he doesn't self-destruct, being a United player and all. I want him to do well. But he's got a shit load to learn. damian 0
I decided that I needed to choose team so that I could have 10 minutes chat with the guys every now and then. Over a lot of beers I chose the Palace. Can't remember why. My only reason I can recall was that I wanted an underdog without any tosser stars in the lineup. An honest footy team, that's what I wanted. Not so sure about those colours though.
BagOfCrisps 24
Not sure you'll manage 10 minutes with Crystal Palace as the subject, but good luck I never thought I's see you "in here"!

BagOfCrisps 24
OK sorry. So how's the season going then mate?
Stefan 0
Crystal Palace!? Of all the teams in London you choose Crystal Palace!? Surely if you wanted a team with NO stars choose Barnet, Millwall, Leyton Orient....Tottenham Ha ha only kidding, Palace do win the prize for the ugliest manager though...Iain Dowie, permanently chewing a lemon. As for the chants (which is the real reson I decided to log on today) it was an absolute disgrace especially when you consider the "Galatico" status that Roberto Carlos and Ronaldo have at Real. BagOfCrisps 24
Yeah DB you should be avoiding the Premiership altogether, go down to the depths of the 2nd or 3rd division (I think they still exist )
damian 0
Playing Newcastle at the Palace this weekend. Should be good. Like I said, lay of the Palace!! We drew with ManU in 1990 or so, FA final. It went to a rematch, but we lost. Plus we came 3rd in our 1st year in the tables... and that was back when the pool was bigger. 22 teams rather than todays diminished league. Go Palace.
rach 1
So which player is lay of the Palace then? So you drew with United hey? Our hearts weren't in that match obviously. I bet your PM'ing MrWiggles in the run up to the Newcastle game hey (he being a barcode supporter and all)
scouser 4
Yes interesting to see you here DB. So what do you reckon, will you be able to stay in the Premiership of will you be straight back down there (where you belong )?
damian 0
Seeing as we held Arsenal at home, I think we will have a good chance against an off-form Newcastle. Mr Wriggles knows that. I don't want anyone else making fun of Crystal Palace. I chose them as they are a clean team, honest players, proud history and a very nice sounding name... Crystal Palace. Plus there is no Hampstead United, so I went south of the river for my team. No way I could support Arsenal, who could support a team with a rude word in their name. And Chelsea just reminded me of Bill Clinton, plus I went to the worst nightclub in the world directly under the Chelsea football ground (it was called Purple, it sucked a left nut big time). scouser 4
They are indeed a great bunch of lads. We will have to keep more of an eye on them to keep up with you DB. You're right about Arse-nal though, how could anyone support a team with such a name. Even the manager is called Arse Wenger. Very strange. It's a conspiracy.
BillTheBinMan 0
Bunch of has-beens more like. Now lets look at Everton.
