Telleboy 0
My van takes regular, "hai oku" is high octane gas or better known in NZ, premium unleaded. What do you call it in other countries?
TheOrange 0
Premium unleaded - thanks! Is it "worth the extra", so to speak?
indosnm 0
In Oz premium unleaded or High Octane. thats where High OC comes from. I wouldn't put anything less than high oc in my baby. and yes, it's worth it. Its much more refined than the regular crap and in high performance cars try running them on regular and they will shit em selves.
xxx 2
I use high oc in mine, wouldn't use regular.
Telleboy 0
If you have a high performance car definatly use hai oku, if you have a work horse of crappy car hai oku will blow all your gaskits in the carb as they are not made well enough to cope with the heat, also your head gaskit will go too. had a friend who used it in his older van and blew the haed gaskit, cost him ¥120 000 to get it fixed. If your unsure check with your local servo of petrol head. good luck.
