The rap group right? Theyre from Atlanta and are a really good rap group. Dont listen to that much rap myself but after seeing them put on a free live concert in college I was hooked on them. Been downloading lots of their stuff on a program called bearshare. Just like napster but hasnt been taken of the net yet... Downloaded 75 songs this morning. Ahhhh, boring typhoon days! \:D

Outkast are great. I think they ham up their accents a bit, which makes them even better. The last album sounds like they've effectively split up. Big Boi's is basically Outkast as was, while Andre's sounds like Prince, Rick James, and Bootsy's Rubber Band.

Out the blue-woo-hoo

No, after you!" lol.gif

Outkast is sort of like alternative rap. It's rap/R&B. But it ain't gansta rap, ain't straight up East coast rap. My opinion of Outkast is sort of like what Porno for Pyro's or the Pyxies are to classical alternative. It's just different. I think the hip hop and rap fans who are tired of Death Row/Bad Boy sounds like this new style.

Didn't they have the 2004 album of the year in the US? A-town is havin' a good year for sure.

The last album is that isn't it - the last one? I'm sure I read that, it being effectively 2 different artists. Did they 'perform' on each others or was it completely separate?
