punch 0
Difficult question, right, what with work and everything to consider. But lets say that you could keep your same general standard of living and adjusted salary etc wherever you were -- where would you most LIKE to live in Japan? I think I'd choose somewhere in the northern part of Gunma.
Oyuki kigan 0
Northern Nagano-ken, somewhere near an onsen and a ski hill. Maybe Nozawa or something. I miss it so much...

indosnm 0
Being a surfer and snowboarder I would have to have 2 places. one in Kochi or miyazaki for the warmer seasons and Probably somewhere in either hokkaido or Niigata( though that last one is a little shaky at the mo)
sakebomb 0
I would have to say where I am is pretty good. 1 min to the beach 15min to the nearest mountain. Although closer to a bigger mountain would be nice. 4 hrs to Niseko/Rusutu ain't to bad though!

connackers 0
Near some mountains would be great! Niseko, Sapporo, Hakuba, Nagano, Niigata, North Gifu all sound fantastic. I guess out of all of those Sapporo takes my fancy the most. Or maybe somewhere really in the sticks like Furano, but it`d probably drive me crazy after a couple of months. damian 0
As I see it, Japan is the only nation to have bombed Sydney (by sub from inside the harbour). So that makes Sydney J territory in a way. I would live in Sydney. Alternatively I would live in Fernie, great BC there.

KlingKlang 1
Nagano pretty popular it seems. I'm going to avoid all the gaijin and go for the Fukushima countryside.
