DrMabuse 0
Tabloid stuff perhaps but... "Abortion rates are falling, but not among the young. In 1990, Japanese women under 20 accounted for 29,675 of the country's 466,087 abortions. By last year, despite being a much smaller part of the overall population because of the decreasing birth rate, minors had 40,475 of the 319,631 abortions performed in Japan." http://mdn.mainichi.co.jp/waiwai/index.html How do those numbers compare to other countries. damian 0
Semi-related topic: I was surprised to see advertising in trains here (UK) that had the following text: Immaculate Contraception: Hardly!! It was advertising a morning after pill that girls could get over the counter at any chemist shop. I am surprised that the catholic community have not complained yet (about the topic and the use of wordplay). Ohh, a google effort proves me wrong. Ad withdrawn. http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story2&u=/nm/20041208/od_nm/britain_publicity_dc
