nori-chan 0
Do poeple say "Happy Easter" as greeting to each other? And do you do something special on Easter? I didn't hear about it.
mad-as-a-nut 0
I'd be hard pressed to even tell you the real meaning of easter any more, nori-chan, and I bet there's a lot of people the same. It probably only has any real meaning to those religiously inclined.

flipside 0
Nori-chan, Being from a non-religious background, Easter to me is: having hot-cross-buns, eating loads of chocolate in the form of eggs or bunnies (ie. see previous picture) and saying... HAPPY EASTER to everyone!
meat 0
I have never said "happy easter" to anyone in my life.
flipside 0
Goes to show my non-religiousness. Easter probably should be sad. A great man died. But hey, then he rose again. he he. Joy!

sakebomb 0
A rabbit that delivers chocolate eggs, no wonder some kids are screwed up. Here is a little history lesson. I wasn't sure either!
tsondaboy 0
Happy Easter to all of you guys. For me though, you will have to wait a bit till you wish me happy Easter because we celebrate it this year around Golden week. Orthodox Christian!
gamera 0
Norichan, check below. http://www.eigotown.com/culture/special/easter/index.shtml I've often mixed Easter with Thanks giving day. Still confused, but Thanks giving day is only in the states, isn't it?
nori-chan 0
thank you gameraさん
jstepp 0
Yes Thanksgiving is only in the states, it celebrates when the first English settlers arrived in what would become the American colony and supposedly ate a great feast with the native Americans. Apparently the new americans drank too much mead during the feast and used the natives for target practice afterwards.
