rach 1
I need to get a new passport soon and want to get it here in Japan if possible. Is there anyone with experience of doing that - hassle-free? (It's a UK one!) Thanks
Yuki's Passion 1
My mate had to send his to the embassy and have them add in more pages rach. If its gonna expire I would imagine itd be about the same thing - send it (or you may have to take it yourself) to the embassy.

SHAG 0
You can do it by post I think rach, it takes about 10 days. Ask at the embassy. Or, check this out http://www.uknow.or.jp/be_e/consular/passport/index.htm
miteyak 0
I did it from here about 9years ago, just send it in to the Tokyo embassy with a fee. Then you have to go and get your visa changed over at the local visa office.
rach 1
Thanks for that. I want to get it done before I go back in the summer, so I'll take a look. Cheers.
