griller 9
I know it isn't a movie but it's like a bit long movie in a way - watched the first 2 seasons of 24. In the space of a week. Very addictive as I remember people saying in another thread.
kokodoko 67
I just watched the Hollywood version of The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo. Mick Rich 78
I remember that the original version of The Thing scared the crap out of me when I was younger!! Also want to see The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo. Saw Jumper last night - not a particularly good movie but worth seeing for Samuel L. Jackson's white hair!
BeerTengoku 35
The skin I live in. Fooked up with twists galore but great acting from Antonio Banderas.
Tubby Beaver 209
I remember that the original version of The Thing scared the crap out of me when I was younger!! Also want to see The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo. Saw Jumper last night - not a particularly good movie but worth seeing for Samuel L. Jackson's white hair! Jumper......is that with Hayden whatshisface who plays Anakin Skywalker? If its that movie, then its crap. Good idea I thought but Anakin can't act for shit!
Mick Rich 78
Yeah, that's the one! & yeah, "Anakin" was easily out-acted by SLJ (no surprises there) but also by "Billy Elliot"!
Tubby Beaver 209
I watched "Rebellion" on TV last night. I'd never heard of it but it had Christian Bale, Sean Bean and a few other recognisable actors. It was some post-apocalyptic authoritarian future movie......no wonder I hadn't heard of it, cos it was mince!
HighlyTrainedNovaTeacher 2
"post-apocalyptic authoritarian future movie" did this bit not flag it as such before you went in there
Tubby Beaver 209
unfortunately the cable company seem to have way-laid my in-depth copy of their movie guide so I just had to make up my own mind to watch and see if it was any good.....it wasn't
klingon 10
They' are making a new TV series called Alcatraz that sounds interesting. A riff on the idea with some sci-fi elements, not a remake story.
