muikabochi 208
The Game (with Michael Douglas) is on one of the movie channels on SkyP this evening. I like that movie, worth a watch.

griller 9
Interesting movie that was. Michael Douglas can't really do anything other than the rich business man dud can he?!
Tubby Beaver 209
He's pretty good at a burn out, sex mad cop
@tokyo 14
I thought it was this thread but apparently not. Anyway Arachnophobia was on this week and I recorded it and gave it a watch last night. Good fun that one.
Thunderbird2 0
Watched the Superman movies this last week. Love the first two, third was odd but entertaining and the fourth was entertainingly bad!
DumbStick 13
War of the Worlds, the Cruise one.. Enjoyed it more than I thought I would.
grungy-gonads 54
I watched that one too over the weekend and I quite enjoyed it. I like aliens.
BagOfCrisps 24
New "Bond" film to be called Skyfall. Makes me laugh them all going on about the new Bond film - -- they haven't even filmed any of the thing yet!
pie-eater 207
Lets hope they put some humour into it this time. Quatum of Bollocks really was piss poor looking back. Having said that they are going on about this new one "this time it's personal" involving M or something. For friggs sake, how many times in latter day bonds has it been "this time it's personal". I want a mad Blofeld who wants to take over the world with frikkin' laser equipped sharks and piranhas, a silly henchman, and secret hideouts and stuff.
klingon 10
So a serious crime thriller then? I agree though Q of S was a non-Bond Bond flick.
ippy 66
what was that pierce brosnan one where they were in some ice world? That was for my money the lowest point of any bond film. In fact, id go so far as to say that pierce brosnan was to bond what val kilmer was to batman. I mean, on the surface goldeneye was awesome. But it just wasnt. It was crap. The only thing that made it awesome was the N64 game and having to save that dumb bint tippy tapping on her computer for 5 minutes on the hardest setting whilst waves and waves of bad guys pour in, one of whom always got through... oh! and the five to ten minutes of game time prior to it (which you had to do every time because there was no save game). Jesus, the memories! it took me almost a year to complete it. I cant remember what it opened up? I think it was moonraker or something. Not worth all that time if you ask me
joshnii 2
what was that pierce brosnan one where they were in some ice world? >>> Die Another Day. The ice hotel in itself wasn't particularly bad (actually a similar thing exists) the worst part was the invisible car.
joshnii 2
"The Ice Palace in the film was inspired by the real-life Ice Hotel in Jukkasjärvi, Kiruna, Sweden."
grungy-gonads 54
I think you are right about Goldeneye. Remembered to being better than it was. Brosnan really ended up a real cheesefest and glad he was out. But, they just don't seem to be able to make them like they used to. OHMSS, Thunderball, You Only Live Twice, that kind of era.... they had some (perhaps sa bit silly) magic going on.
RobBright 35
Watched "On Any Sunday" yesterday, or was it Saturday, on AXN. Very good documentary about motorbike racing in the '70s.
snowboard 0
Flick called Grown Ups came on and for some reason I just kept on watching. A fairly lightweight comedy with Adam Sandler. Got a few chuckles out of it.
Slippery Jim 65
Finally watched Harry Brown on my flight back. It's a Brit version of the old Bronson flick Death Wish, updated to council housing woes, but a chance to see Michael Caine in a good role.
brit-gob 9
Stargate. Silly nonsense of course. But Kurt has a fab haircut.
pie-eater 207
I watched Con Air last night. As much as I think Cage is just.... rubbish... I enjoyed it. Didn't have any popcorn but I did have some beer, that might have helped.
kokodoko 67
I watched "The World's Fastest Indian" last night. it was quite good. It is a good insight into the psyche of kiwis
