SerreChe 2
That reminds me I still have Tsonda's Oxyride batteries in one of my beacons. Gotta take them outa there before I take the wrong beacon one of these mornings! I am glad to see that warning was useful to some peeps, I am sure there are still quite a few out there with the same problem. Test & Practice!
marnix 0
I held the new DTS Tracker model in my hands at the ISPO with 3 antennas, better software, realtime search etc. it should in stores in the coming fall. don't know if it can handle the oxyride batteries though. SerreChe 2
Good bump Tsonda. Beware of the 55m syndrome! Ok, how many people have praticed their beacon skills this winter?
tsondaboy 0
I opened my back pack today and found out that I had forgot to turn off my beacon (better forget to turn it off than on). Last time I was out was last Friday, so the beacon was on for a week but was still beeping. The batteries had dropped to 2% but I was still able to turn it to search mode. Yuki's Passion 1
another thing to do if youre worried about that is carry spare batteries with you...but as stuntcok said just having it on for the whole season wont drain the batteries unless youre using it in search mode a lot.
