Hey guys,

I have a really sore shin muscle, and i'm wondering if there is anything i can do to help it.

it's a really hard muscle to stretch.. and i don't know what has caused it.

any help would be great.. as the snow is starting to spew down and i dont wanna miss out!!

i had bad shin splints a few years ago, and it was due to A, the way i was skiing, B the type of skiing i was doing, and C my mediocre equipment.

don't mean to suggest you get new boots, but it made a bug difference for me.

shin splints is when your shin has cracks in it, my shin bone isn't sore, its the muscle next to it \:\(

You're just overusing your shin muscles. Bad news is that the only way to get them better is to rest & ice, then to exercise. Exercise by stepping on a towel and pulling the towel in towards you by bending your toes. Adjusting your equipment will help too. I tried to ignore it but it just got so bad that it hurt me to walk. The next season when I got new boots I didn't have the problem
