Hey guys at SJ.

well a friend of mine went over to canada last year and was telling me how he would get trashed off 4 beers and whatnot due to the higher altitude / lower atmosphere pressure.

well, I live at sealevel and during Xmas/NewYears time I will be off to Niseko, snowboarding.

I was wondering if this is true, and if I would experience it by drinking 1. at village level and 2. up on the peak/higher runs.

Also, anyone with this kind of experience please share your good-times.

Thanks!

SB

the top chair at niseko is 800m or whatever.

you don't feel the alcohol altitude change until about 2800m. that's why people who move to the rockies/sierra's in NA get the carborator adjusted.

yes, when i first moved to colorado from flat chicago i got drunk easier. but that only lasts a day or three then your body adjusts.

Christmas is celebrated in Niseko EXACTLY like it is in Australia. You'd hardly know the difference.

Actually you'd find it quite hard to get crabs in Hirafu. The Alpen might have some. If you do a night in Sapporo, there's plenty to be had there. I once had 4 snow crabs in obe sitting.
