damian 0
Not many for me: - Happo - Tsugaike Kogen - Cortina - H47 - Goryu (I consider the same as 47) - Nozzle - Niseko - Naeba - Arai - Hakouda - Kagura - A small place in Yuzawa. Supposedly the steepest resort in town (can't remember its name) - Another small place in Yuzawa. (Can't remember its name either) Not sure why I can't remember the names of Yuzawa resorts? Even after looking at the list of resorts in the valley the names still don't sound familiar. I know what the problem is: Japanese words often sound the same to me, especially resort names. SnowJapan Admin SnowJapan#Andrew 6 Posted October 10, 2006 SnowJapan Admin Share Posted October 10, 2006 Quote: A small place in Yuzawa. Supposedly the steepest resort in town (can't remember its name) That will probably be Pine Ridge Resorts Kandatsu (previously known as Kandatsu Kogen).
damian 0
Could be, could be. There was a ridge with some pines on it. In my first year I used to go there a bit by myself to "practice" riding steep stuff. They had a very lumpy short steep course that at the time was a bit of a challenge. I like to think of that little resort as my training ground for what came later on. Oh, I forgot to add Hunter Mountain to my list above. How could I forget my Hunta trip with powwwers!
