BagOfCrisps 24
At school I absolutely hated hated hated that kind of thing. I blame the one-eyed teacher of course his lessons were a shambles. He looked like a nutty professor and probably was one (or a few ranks down from professor!)
soubriquet 0
I was absolute shite at school. I ended with three O levels (English, maths and physics) then left at 16 to join the army. That was the total of my uni entrance qualifications when UEA let me in as a mature student when I was 29. Then I went straight on to do a PhD at Reading. Life can be a funny journey at times. BagOfCrisps 24
I was crap at school. I just couldn't do exams well I got too nervous. Then suddenly when I went to uni I seemed to be able to cope with exams and graded projects, and actually ended up getting a first.
soubriquet 0
A first? Smartarse. What in? Grafitti above the bog-roll holder at UEA said "Sociology degrees: help yourself".
