rach 1
Gala Yuzawa was just on the news something about the gondola not being able to move last night due to strong winds and people having to kip down there (in the gondola? or maybe at the resort?) Anyone caught up in that?
oblivion 5
It seems that 1450 people were stranged up at the top gondola station when the gondola had to stop due to strong winds, with 80 people actually in the gondolas when it stopped around 9pm for about 3 hours. maninjapan 0
My god was there on Friday and it all seemed fine. Would hate to be in that situation though.

HeatherLocklearRocks 1
I know someone who was on the gondola when it stopped. They had a long long day! Said it was pretty scary with the really strong winds and they didn't know what was going on.
rigor mortis 0
i went up there monday. pretty rugged weather. snowing all day, little bit of quite nice fresh snow,. but the fact that it was sprinkled over a rock hard glacier meant it was a fairly average day. gondola was moving along nicely. number9 0
I also heard that Kagura's closed because of strong winds and only the Mitsumata part is open today, but it's raining, sideways.
