dale#1 1
Important to you? I always try to be first up when I go out. Get those first tracks.
Mudguts 0
I always wake up early and have a peek out the window. If it hasn't snowed then I go back sleep in and get up when I'm ready but if it snowed the night before then I'll try for the first lift depending on how many beers I consumed the night before. mattlucas 0
Not such a big deal Patrol is usually out in force in the morning getting things set up so you sometimes have more chance of getting caught Also in Japan the powder isn't going anywhere so what's the hurry
indosnm 0
Don't really care too much, as toque stated, the pow ain't going anywhere.
tsondaboy 0
If it was snowing during the night yes, otherwise don’t bother.
JPchucky 0
Since I don't live in the mountains, and don't get to ski so much. YES, always try to spend as much time as possible on the mountain first tracks or not.
kintaro 0
Get a season pass and you never have to hurry. There are days I stroll in at 3pm and quit at 5 just on a whim. It's the beauty of having a season pass. Come to think of it, I might go do a naita! bye
JPchucky 0
Yup, next year it's on, I need a car. Dang Kintaro, I used to live on Oahu also. Eva beach.
kintaro 0
Out in Ewa? we could have met...? Were'd you use to hang?
Davo 1
I'm happy to start at 10, but earlier is cool too. No point gunning for freshies on the runs. Anyway if it has dumped overnight half the lifts don't open till mid-morning a lot of the time. Better to sleep in a bit and enjoy breakfast.
7-11 2
If I'm awake I'll go and really enjoy being up there first with no one else. If I don't wake up that early, no worries!
tamsbond 0
it's very different when you're living in a resort and have a season pass than if you're just visiting for a few days or a week. If i'm just visiting and it's bad weather or i'm not feeling so great or there are millions of people around, i won't hurry out, and often won't stay out for long. However, if i'm visiting for a few days i feel obliged to get the absolutely maximum number of hours on the hill, so i'll be the first one on, last one off!!
