sugargirl 0 Posted January 11, 2006 Share Posted January 11, 2006 hey i'm preparing for my first trip to japan and am headed to nozawa on friday. i'm hoping there are some cool cats i can ride with as i'm flying solo and therefore unfamiliar with the terrain. also do i need to have avi gear? does anyone know how easy it might be to buy a tranceiver in tokyo or even at nozawa? perhaps also an indication of prices is helpful... thanks so much Link to post Share on other sites

If you're going BC check out the Avalanche/BC forum, not recommended to do it solo, I don't know about Nozawa, but hopefully you can find at least a guide to go with there with you.
