puretele 0
I know this has been touched on before but with all the new gear changes in recent times I think it will be interesting to compare gear. Skis : Rossignol T3 Boots Scarpa T1 (bumblebees) Bindings: G3 Targa
puretele 0
Forgot to mention this is my all mountain set up which has served me well in Australia and in the deep powder in Niseko last February. If I was just looking at a powder ski for Japan it would probably be the Rossi Sickbird or K2 Anti-Piste with G3's.
mattlucas 0
I like it that Rossignol has brought back the Rooster Is the sickbird a Tele specific ski or just a light BC ski?
puretele 0
The Rooster and 70's graphics look great. It is marketed as a tele specific powder ski but I reckon you could put an AT binding on it and it would perform great. Nice dimensions 128/98/121.
Fattwins 0
I want the Voile insane
puretele 0
140/109/132. Those dimensions are insane. Great for big mountains and deep powder. What more could you ask for?
Fattwins 0
And it is light as a feather
Fattwins 0
they are really light I got to touch them a few weeks ago and fell in love
SerreChe 2
Skis are getting ever wider. How about a couple of snowboards, one for each foot! These Voile look nice indeed!
palamb 0
How about the K2 World Piste with Voile releasables. Was going to try the Kahru t3 releasables but have really had no problem with the Voiles' so why change when what ya got is workin' well.... Can't beat Garmont for the boots though...Tele Ho
puretele 0
When I bought my Rossi T3's it was a toss up between them and the World Piste-both great skis. Another ski which has got good reviews in Coulior and Telemark skier is the Karhu Jak bc. The voile releasables are a tried and true release binding. I had them on my old Tele-Sauvages for a couple of years. They work great at the resort but I found when they released in deep snow they were bastards to get back in.I hope the NTN binding is releasable. Looking forward to skiing on those when they come out. Garmonts are great boots but Scarpa seem to fit my feet better. Got any snow at Whitefish, Paul?
puretele 0
Hey telemarkers! Is there anyone else out there?
Snowhaus 0
No. We're too busy praying to Huey and eating scroggin to come in from the cold Oh, and Line Motherships (trusty old favourites), Crispis, and G3 Targas. Where in Australia do you ski Puretele?
puretele 0
Knew there were some other telemarkers out there. Never heard of Line Motherships - who makes them and what are their dimensions? I am a Thredbo diehard. Ski lots of backcountry on the main range - Twynam,Watsons Crags, Little Austria, Club Lake and Leatherbarrel Creek. Have you got any turns in yet, Snowhaus?

IM 0
Hey, Just got my bindings mounted on my Volkl Sumo. They don't even fit into a vice for the jump skis.
mattlucas 0
That will be a good setup IM You get a deal on them or did you have to throw down some big coin? Little short though don't you think though? I'd much rather have it in 185 or bigger
Fattwins 0
yeah but at a 140 in the waist I think that they will float. They were made more for the switch jumping crowd really though.
mattlucas 0
125 in the waist I think I'd go over the handle bars It's also a twin so depending on how they measure it it might be even shorter
Fattwins 0
all my research on skis and I messed up the waist size. poops goode makes a spatula by the way also they are selling all the old db stock
IM 0
Since those fatts are pretty much gone in Japan, I picked them up on my biz. trip back to US last month. Got some deal, but not much ~10%off. And yes, they are a bit short, but the width will compensate for the floatation. Also, there are some strange sticks out.↓ http://www.icelanticboards.com/at_boards.htm
palamb 0
I won't be over this year, but as soon as a FIS Telemark Racing gets going I will be packing my ski-bags and planning my trip.........Tele Ho
