I never rode stoned in japan because I couldn’t get any weed, nor did I particularly want to, as all my Japanese mates were very against the idea of smoking it in japan. But otherwise, yeah I would have ridden the odd day ripped. Back home I used to surf ripped fairly regularly, but that was usually the result of having a sesh after a surf and still being a bit fuzzy when I paddled out for the next one. Only rarely would I get deliberately ripped before a surf, but I quite like it. Each to their own I guess. Not sure about pro snowboarders, but in the past many many famous surfers have been out of it a lot. Jeff Hakman winning Bells in massive surf while smacked out is probably one of the more notable ones. Link to post Share on other sites
