I usually forget what the three-monthly ones said by the time the actual weather arrives. Any season is a good season if you get out at the right time! Last year it was all concentrated into a few weeks. Hopefully we'll not get a late start again. If its still micey around Christmas, lots of people cancel for New Year. Thats the biggest moneyspinner for resort areas, so it hits them hard. With fuel costs and heating costs up this year, a solid start to the season seems extra important.
