Well I'm glad somebody answered that. I hadn't even the slightest idea what the question was about...

 

Sounds like hard work anyways. I think I might pass on that for a bit.

We first pick a landing to make sure it is on a fairly steep incline to avoid flat landing. Then use the borads/skis to maka a form. Pile on snow, spead some salt (I think they call them "Ryu an"). Jump away!

Make sure to take it down at the end of the day.

If you find one that's already built, check to see what the landing area is like. If a few people have used one, it will probably be all chopped up, which can then harden overnight to become cruddy. This makes it far more difficult to land your jumps, resulting in possible injury. In that case you'd be better off making your own.

 

The steeper the run up, the shorter the distance you've got to hike. You can also get relatively higher off a small jump if it's built somewhere steep.
