ollie 0
Just got back from SSAWS. It was pretty empty. I was wondering if this is usual for a Friday night? Has anyone else been to SSAWS on a Friday afternoon-night session?
grungy-gonads 54
I've never been on a Friday night, or any night for that matter. Pretty empty was it then?...but surely good to be riding the snow?
sachiko 0
How was SSAWS Nat?
ollie 0
yeah G-G, it's fun to be riding the snow again but it does get boring because you just end up practicing carving. it would be sweet if there were an indoor snow-park w/ a half pipe?
Guest
We went at the end of last week. It wasn't busy at all, and great to be in cold and snowy conditions. Its a great place to go in summer. pity it won't be there much longer.
oo 1
Anyone recommend the "next best place" for Tokyoites after SSAWS closes down?

slow 0
I found this old topic. I miss SSAWS. " title="" src="graemlins/cry.gif" />
Goemon 0
Drove by it recently and was wondering what they're doing with it now. Waiting for the bubble to return and holding out for a buyer? Converting it into a sloped assembly-line/warehouse? The trucks could just line-up at the bottom while all of the goods "slide" onto the trailers. Viva la Gravity! New home for Tama-chan? New home for Panawave?
GlennNZ 0
Tama-chan?

enderzero 0
What, with all the pressure of being the savior of the planet and all (I mean we didn't die right?) I'm sure it is normal for a seal to pack on a few paltry pounds.
Goemon 0
Yes, he needed that extra weight to absorb the harmful waves being emitted by the telephone poles. He got fat so that you might live! " title="" src="graemlins/cry.gif" />

enderzero 0
Someone told me SSAWS was pronounced ZAOS (ザオス). Is that correct?
Nat 0
I was so shocked to see my name on Forum again! I have not been visited for ....5 monts at least... Hello people in Japan from Germany with Heatwave. I miss Japanese A/C!! (No A/C in Germany....garr!) I went to Skihalle (Indoor slope) in Neuss, Germany. It was amazingly similar to SSAWS, but biggest difference was there is a park!! Plus, Price is more friendly than SSAWS. Anyway, Greeting to everyone! Nat xx ps. Actually SSAWS prononced "ZAUSU (ザウス)"
snowboard_freak 0
There should be more indoor parks like that. It's a damn fine idea. What kind of jumps and rails did they have there Nat?
