Guest
I don't live there, but as far as I know, most of the snow resorts up there are in the niseko region and to the north of these, and to the east, where Furano, Sahoro are. I didn't know about any that far up north.....no-one would go there anywayz.
guycalled0 0
dont think there are any worth talking about. Theres bound to be some "local" ones tho
sachiko 0
The best resort in Hokkaido region is to west of Sapporo I think.
IM 0
The most Northan Resort in Hokkaido is probably the Asahi Dake, but this is still North Central part. As you go North, the terrain gets less hilly and not enough verts to have anything worth while. But if you don't mind the hike, you can ride the Rishiri Fuji, on Rishiri to. BigSausage 0
Have you actually been up there IM to do some riding? I actually (mistakenly) thought that Hokkaido got wilder and more hilly up north. Shows what I know.
IM 0
BigS, I have been only up to Asahi dake, right after they have replaced the gondola. For Rishiri, you can read my friends report if you are interested (Japanese). The trip seems to be very extreme in every aspect. http://www.yamaboken.gr.jp/rishiri.html
