2pints-mate 0
So were there more of those funny scooter like things on the Japanese slopes this winter?
gamera 0
I tried snowscoot, but if you mentioned about the newer one on which we can sit, I've never tried it yet. They say it's similar to ride though.
snowboarder 0
Whats that called you're (you?) riding in your avatar gamera?
scouser 4
I saw a fair few on the slopes. They were annoying and the people on them looked more than a little dangerous. Gamera is that you riding one there in your avatar? You any good?
bettyx 0
there was a demonstration at panorama on happo over spring, everyone could try one for free which was nice. however, being an uncoordinated first-timer (even with exp on skis, blades & snowboarding), i was laughing away with my friends as we flew down the slope, suddenly i hit a bump & somehow smacked my open mouth on the handlebar. seriously. chipped my front tooth, all the japanese dentists said they couldn't do anything, but cost me $300 to fix it when i got back to oz. yes, snow skooters are lots of fun until you chip a tooth. mattlucas 0
Almost all of the people I see riding those silly bikes wear a full face helmet. So I bet hitting your face on the handle bar is a common thing.
Fattwins 0
or its just cool. I remember those guys telling us not to head into the trees at my local mountain. How is a patroller gonna get the bike outta there if someone gets hurt? they can do it but it would take more time and possibly another sled.
mattlucas 0
Yes Or it might just be cool I bet they nut themselves on the bar all the time
Fattwins 0
the much needed jock strap. I dont miss those smelly things.
Oyuki kigan 0
There are way easier and funner ways to hurt yourself. And not look like a punter doing it (unless you are trying a bar spin off a tabletop and end up messing up your femur in the process like some instructor from Whistler did last year).
