ivo 0 Posted October 20, 2001 Share Posted October 20, 2001 i was last year at the end of november in marunuma kogen (i'm not shure about the name). if you like to wait 30 minutes to take a crappy lift for 3 minutes and ride down a 30 meter wide and 300 meter long fake snow slope in the middle of green fields, in 30 seconds, then you should try it!!!!!!!! this is not a joke! (if i have a good day, i will scan a picture about that day) but better is, just to wait untill the real snow is deep enough to ride it! Link to post Share on other sites

Usually it is just the Kagura top part of the resort complex at that time, with little or no snow at the Mitsumata part. But you never can tell around that time of year.....it can surprise you. I heard Naeba has more that 200 snow-making machine... and they make a lot of snow early season like Snow Summit then try to make longer season from my Japanese friend... Is it true?? Am confusing now.... P.S. Actually X-mas do! is not on@8 Dec 2001. It becomes 1 Dec 2001. ('cos My pals gonna do Cheese & Wine Party on 8th....Ummm Wine...Ummm... Cheese... I love them...)
