I recommend late January to top February because students are busy to prepare examinations so usually they are not at ski slopes. Less crowded which everyone prefers \:\)

We call that time 'Daikan' which means the coldest time of the year, so you can expect powder snow then \:\)

I am now removing snow entire day long yesterday and today coz snow keeps falling, looks like a chubby snowman lol....

I think there is a hint there! :p

I just submited the thesis, gam, so I will be storming the slopes again startning from this friday.

yup, jan/feb is best. season's pretty much done in honshu by mid march, at least for light pow. i took one weekend off last year in jan/feb. even though it was to check out shanghai, i still regret missing out.
