I have a set of comformables in my boots. I am using a pair of Nordica Vertech 85 that I bought about 7 years ago and at the same time had a pair of comformables molded for my feet. I am still using the same ones. They are really comfortable although lack a little in shock asorbtion. Make sure you have all the latest bells and whistles in your boots for shocks. The conformables I use have a space blanket type material on the sole to keep the heat in and your piggys nice and warm and because they mold to your foot shape they are much more comfortable than factory soles.

If you want a good boot fit, but can't afford mold injection then I highly recommend comformables. Make sure you go to a good boot fitter who has experience with these things.

last weekend...he knew his shit, but

the custum liner/footbed costs 54,000yen!!

I need to know if its worth it...

i've had custom footbeds made before, but

i still got some crazy pain in my boots...

Well mine certainly didn't cost that much.

What the hell was involved in that price? I hand job too? confused.gif

What boots was this customer liner/footbeds thing happening too?

For your info the corformable is not a custom liner. It is a custom footbed. Just in case you were trying to figure it out.

yo mogski...

yah, i'm talkin about custom liners, not

just footbeds...conformable makes liners

too..this guy does polyurethene molded liners.... that is what i was hoping to

get some advice on...

i'm using last years Head World Cup boots

great boots, but terrible pinch right on

my ankle bones...

Maybe you should save yourself the trouble and spend a couple of hours fitting new boots. Better off for the price you are talking about. Not only do you get a good fitting boot, but a new one too!

Maybe look at softer flexing boots? Less nuts and bolts in the things to get into all those annoying hurting places. Flexon, Salomon Pro Model(if they got it in your foot size. Thanks Salomon Japan for stopping at 28.5 and discriminiating everyone with big feet!)

hey mogski...

believe me, i went through alot of time

and trouble to find a "good fitting boot"...

but the sad truth is, you don't really know

until you are on the mountain...and there

is no such thing as demoing high performance

boots...the Head boot was the only boot that

didn't hurt in the store...

and i like stiff boots...total power transfer!

well...i'm still researching...want to

find a solution before my first day out...

12/15 is the goal...
