Sounds like you'll have time to get some boarding in, though you might be better off staying close to Sapporo. Why it's so cheap on a weekend at that time of the season is a mystery indeed. I think I might use this package for visiting hokkaido...Am not really interested this big snowboard game( well, my friend really interested though) but this is cheap.
