Jinja 0
Sunday was a complete wash out at Arai, torrents of rain. Did Hakuba / Nozawa / etc also have a lot of rain??? Let me know, just curious.
7-11 2
Yuzawa had rain later on in the day, but that is now snow - 1 more day before back to the grind.
NoFakie 45
Mentioned it elsewhere but Hakuba had rain, icy snow and very high winds all day. At 47, Line E (the lift to Goryu) was closed by lunchtime, the gondola and quad went down at 2:30 and line D (the usually unused pair off the bottom) finished the day by stopping around 3:15. By the end of the day, the rinkan course was strewn with broken twigs and branches, something I've never seen before. My final ride on the quad took around 15 minutes and with a strong north-south crosswinds carrying sharp cruddy snow, it was a relief to finally get off the hill.
Wade 0
Happo had the same story as 47/goryu. The day would have been salvagable if not for the gale-force winds. kinda like baording with your face on fire and your eyes closed
oo 1
Noooooo! We seem to be into snow zone again, but not exactly dumping down.....January was a pretty dry month taken as a whole. Lets hope Feb is a dumping one.
