Ellmannator 0
Hi, Can any-one recommend a resort that will still have at least half decent snow in early May? I know that's right at the end of Japan's season, but that's when I'll be visiting and I'm hoping that there'll be a resort up in Hokkaido or somewhere that will still be ridable. Any advice would be much appreciated. Cheers.
frannyo 2
You certainly wont find pow conditions then, but want the best? Limited experience, but I have had some great boarding days at Kagura in Yuzawa (right at the top). Would be interested to hear of other places as well.
snobee 0
Any number of places along the Kochi coast, especially around the nakamura area. If you're lucky, warm days, glassy with 4 - 6 foot peels. Boarders delight.
thomas 0
Anyone tried out Gassan, thats the place that is open til the end of July. I think it only opens in April or something crazy like that.....
grungy-gonads 54
With the snow as it is now and the temperatures we're having ------ SSAWS
xxx 2
Looks like the conditions - or what's left of them - will be terrible. Surely the resorts that usually open until Golden Week are going to be seriously struggling to do so this season.
