brit-gob 9
Just checked the weather section in both my newspaper and also on the web, but unfortunately none seem to cover 12 months from now. Shame really.
danz 0
well... if you are a believer in el nino, next year will be a bummer... check it... http://www.cnn.com/2002/WEATHER/03/07/el.nino.2002/index.html but la nina always follows, which mean 2 yrs from now should be heaven... and by the way...60 days on snow?? i did that once in my lifetime...sacrificing a good part of my college education for it too... (but i actually figured out a scam to get my school to pay for most of it ) with 60 days on snow, you should not complain about the weather...you are living the life danz ------------------ pray for snow
newby 0
Isn't it a tad early to start thinking about this. OK, I have thought about it. I am having a great season this year, but next year will be better. There you go.
Zodiac 0
60 days is not bad at all. Stop ya moanin, some of us can't get half that in.
frannyo 2
Another month and we'll all be sweating like pigs and dreaming of snow. Another 6 months and we'll be starting to think about winter again.
rach 1
Every year gets better - as I get better at riding. Getting quite good now, if I say so myself.
Guest
I think the best season ever is still to come, otherwise, what is the point of getting up each time if there is no chance it will be better then yesterday........
miteyak 0
Over the last seven years, it got worse for a few years, then better, maybe climaxing about two years ago, last year even, then this year getting worse again, or at least, heavier dumps over short periods of time, followed by longer dry spells. If that's the case, and it's linked to el nino, then I guess we can expect a decline in conditions for a few years.
Guest
mmmmmmmmmmm maybe. how long is a piece of string???
barok 0
the length of a piece of string depends on which piece of string you are talking about, and whether or not you are stretching it out, or just leaving it limp. also depends on whether or not the string is wet and to a limited extent, the temperature and humidity. russel 0
I hope so, although don't we all hope that every season will just get better and better?
Matt 0
Hey Danz, surely that article that you're quoting is talking about the effect of El Nino on north America. Therefore it might have a good (?) effect on Japan
Nat 0
Last season, Canada was really bad but Japan was not bad (at least, I thought) This season, Japan was bad but Canada was good(I heard). Let's hope good snow for next season! Maybe good snow!
snobee 0
Barok - Actually conditions don't apply to the length of a piece of string. It's always "Twice as far as it is from one end to the middle"
the black adder 0
If this summer is really hot, then we might be look forward to a good many snow winter. I hope so, I like hot summer also!
