Bones 0
Hi there, I'm wanting to go snowboarding in Japan this month but as it's now early April I wnated to ask if anyone can recommned best place for spring riding? I know some resorts are open till early May so I wanted to get one last trip in before end of season. Am thinking of Niseko and/or Kiroro in Hokaido due to more "base snow" but not sure if right choice? What about Nagano in mid April? Mountain/Resort & Accomodation - any recommendations for mid April riding? Many thanks Tony Carey Hong Kong
Guest
"Base snow"? In Nagano and Niigata you are now talking of base snow of pretty much "zero". The snow line quickly moves up the mountain.

cal 6
The snow seems to be disappearing form the bottom part of Niseko too right now. Pretty miserable all round, I'd say for us snow lovers.
brit-gob 9
Not much crap snow left either now. It's a sad time of year, don't you think?
Ocean11 0
D-i-r-t-s-u-r-f-e-r-! No point moping about now... For you folks holed up in the city, there must be some parks where you could ride one of these crazy new boards and have some cheap fun?
