Sorry to be pessimistic but working for a Japanese ski school is not all beer and skittles!

It is basically babysitting for a start unless you are race training or working for a foreign co. such as Club Med.

You will be expected to sit through countless meetings all in Japanese and then fold bids etc at the end of the day. The pay in my experience is also less than you might initially expect..

But as they say what you put in is what you should expect to get out of it! Good luck.

ya, so far everything ive heard has been pretty discouraging but im gonna go for it neways. i now know for sure that i will be moving to japan within a year so if it works out it works out and if not then i will just hit up some other sort of job.

ive heard that its pretty much a male dominated industry though.

ya thats wut i was thinking... considering i will probably be living in tokyo upon arrival.

perhaps waitressing in a french restuarant lol oh good times

although it would be amazing to be an instructor in japan

 

ps. do they have any east indian restuarants in tokyo
