I am staying at the Canadian place. First time I have booked accom. in Japanese. I think I got it right.

Markie mate, the yellow buggy will be out this season. Just need to find it, buy it and get a drivers ticket!

That was a great trip!! Sunday night it snowed, about 2 inches at The Canadian Pension. Then this morning (Monday) it started again and didn't stop until we left. We walked for about 2 hours up one of the mountains (Akakura?) amid the lifts and it was really snowing hard. There was easily 1 foot of fresh uncompacted snow at the big hotel half way up... Akakura Hotel. Lots of snow and very white.

when we left it was snowing all the way down to Myogo Kogen Station, but not settling.

By the way... The Canadian place was a very nice little place to stay. Not right at the lifts but the owners are great and will drive you where you want to go. I would return just for the food.
