SnowJapan Admin SnowJapan 180 Posted April 15 SnowJapan Admin Share Posted April 15 SnowJapan 2026-2027 Some major news as the 2025-2026 snow season enters the final stretch. Work on a brand-new version of SnowJapan has been underway since last spring. It's always exciting to go through the process of planning and reworking the site. There is still a lot of work to do, but I wanted to make a few points at this stage of the ongoing process. As we have done in recent years, we will again publish the actual (and confirmed) 2025-2026 opening and closing dates of ski areas throughout Japan. However, this year, that information will appear later than usual, at the time the new site launches. We will also, of course, be publishing general planned season dates for the 2026-2027 season (when the new site launches). And then, as usual, gradually update those with specific planned season dates in the run up to next season. From next year, such data will go back to being published in the late spring/early summer period. So there's some disruption to the normal routine/schedule this year, but hopefully it will all be worth it. If all goes well, we hope to have the new site online by November 2026.
