telf 0
Has anyone had any good experience with net retailers for snowboard gear? any advice appreciated.
damian 0
yes, very few will ship to japan, and not because of the cost. It is a pain in the neck.
Dokumanju 0
I haven't ordered any stuff from on-line shops b4 so i don't know if there's any pitfalls or not but here are sum on-line shops in japan. http://alphsports.cool.ne.jp/LOFT/ http://www.bekkoame.ne.jp/~backfire/ http://www.kakaku.com/snow/Link/shop-sb.htm The first two r the only ones i found with close to decent prices. Unfortunately most of there cheap stuff seems to be sold out. The last link has lotsa links on it. Have a dig around. l8rs sk8rs
fisherkingnigel 0
I myself have bought 100% of all my gear online this year and refuse to pay these ridiculous prices in Japan. I went through ebay canda and had all of my stuff bought with one seller. He has a store so it was great. One thing you might wanna consider is if your from Canada or America just have the gear sent to your mom's or friends. Then have them ship it all in one box for yeah. That's my adivce, Nigelman
Lama 0
i heard somewhere that burton wont allow any out outlets they stock sell their gear online..... is this true??

Lama 0
yeah fish dude, i mean selling burton products directly through retail shops' own web sites.... rather than through e-bay where products are meant to be "second hand/used"
indosnm 0
Yahoo auctions Japan U can get anything U want and pretty cheap. Shipping for a board is about 1000 yen if not less. Some of the gear is last years but brand new so at a good discount. check it out http://list.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/25118-category.html

enderzero 0
I particularly like this place: http://www.usoutdoorstore.com/ They claim to ship internationally. They have a great selection of boards including many from Burton. They also carry Option...which is way cool. I checked out the ebay canada thing. Seems to be quite a few good deals including your dude Nigel. I am looking all over for a particular jacket right now but cannot find it...or even a picture of the right color. It is the K2 Paradise Tech in whatever they call grey (slate or granite or - geeze I can't even find that right now. K2's site is so lame!) in case someone comes across a picture of it online.
