Early season Now reports, snow depth data and webcams

A few people have been asking us about when certain updates will be made, so here's the plans for the coming weeks as we approach the snow season:

 

Resort information

We are currently going through every single ski hill in Japan and updating the information on SnowJapan. With 500+ of them, it takes a considerable amount of time but we hope to have it pretty much done by the end of this month. It would of course be ideal to get it all sorted earlier, but for many places the updated information simply isn't available earlier. (Some resorts haven't even updated their own info yet even now!)

You'll see more updates from now and then we plan to have them going 'daily' once the season opens in the area covered.

 

All-Japan ski resort daily snow depth data

We're still finding out when this will start - we don't control it ourselves - but usually it is around the second week of December when this data begins updating for the season. We will let you know when this is sorted.

 

Webcams

We'll be going through the webcams soon to check and update; and then once again as the season starts.

Daily snow depth data for most ski resorts in Japan is nearly with us.... testing data supply at the moment and hopefully within a number of days it will be started.
