pie-eater 207
Glastonbury debate http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ojZ-axEB2mw ...and if these people do mime...what's the point?
pie-eater 207
And. have you seen the 'scenes from hell' mess that is left at the end of Glastonbury. Can't see the ground for litter. Bet Fuji Rock Festival doesn't look like that at the end.....
oo 1
can't believe some people saying it would be just fine for performers to mime.
Tubby Beaver 209
I wondered about the Stone Roses miming when I saw them at Fuji Rock the other year......Ian Brown just doesn't stay in tune for that long
the snowboarding vicar 1
My first thought was... Dolly Parton, at Glastonbury?
NoFakie 45
They like a bit of the ironic guest spot. It used to be Rolf Harris, but it won't be any more! fwiw, I reckon Glastonbury is now just some big corporate version of a music-only festival like Reading with some hippy history that is judiciously mined for street cred. Actual hippies and other alternative types stopped going years ago. All the counter-culture political stuff is long gone too. I bet Hawkwind never mimed in 1975! etc. etc.
Chriselle 158
I was WAY off.....I was thinking "Dolly" !!

pie-eater 207
They should get Shakey up there. But he'd be the Saturday night headliner in the Pyramid stage.
Tubby Beaver 209
Rumour is Cliff for next year I'm waiting for him to be arrested in the Saville scandal......something weird about that man
DoctorOctopus 2
But.... he's wired for sound!
Nisoko 6
I think Shakey is safe from all that, though.
pie-eater 207
Shakey's a Welsh legend and I won't be having anyone say bad things about him.
oblivion 5
Watched Metallica online. Pretty good I reckon.
NoFakie 45
They should get Shakey up there. But he'd be the Saturday night headliner in the Pyramid stage. Wiki says he's played there before, first thing in the morning though. I'd rather have Shakey than Muse or Elbow!

pie-eater 207
While I like a bit of Muse myself, and a bit of Elbow in quieter moods, neither can touch Shakey of course. For your plug in baby, I give you this ole house!
