Thanks Mike. Not bad for a working stiff, I think (did use up a whole year's worth of vac days!)

Tsugaike Kogen

24 times out on the snow.

(I'm including my 4 runs in the rain on Tuesday before I gave up, and including mini-hikes and 2/3 hour sessions in the hills behind my house)

31 today but hope to get another couple days out maybe a bit more.

Actually Sun Meadows are extending the season until 17th April as still have full cover top to bottom with no dirt patches showing.

Was even talk of going through to golden week but this last week has took its toll on the snow so doubt it will last that long.

57 so far. Will hopefully get to about 65 before putting the skis away for the summer.

Usually it's more but I broke my hand early season so was out of action for a few weeks.

A total of 9 for me-

Aizukogen takatsue: x4

Marunumakogen: x2

Kawaba: x1

Naeba: x1

Maiko: x1

Bought my own gear in mid January, so missed out on the winter holidays because of that. If I'm not visiting my brother in Oz next winter, I expect to up this number by quite a bit.

12 (6 different resorts)with one or two more on the horizon. I was only able to make it to one new resort this season. A lot less than I had planned but not having access to a car for a month and a half put a dent in my plans!

I read somewhere that the average skier in the US gets 5 days a season and the average snowboarder gets closer to 6. Looking at the poll, its easy to see most SJers blow those figures out of the water!

Everythings much closer in Japan and the quantity of snow seems bigger too!

So far I've done 40 days since Jan 2nd. Made a spreadsheet to keep track.

Towadako Onsen- 1 day

Makado Onsen- 1 Day

Hakkoda -1 Day (going back between now and may)

Naqua Shirakami- 3 Days (maybe one more day this season)

Kamafuseyama- 34 Days

Great season even if I don't board anymore, but I'll probably get 5-6 more days if I'm lucky!

Glad to see I'm not the only one getting some time out there.
