brit-gob 9
NHK news just now. Talking about the warm temperatures today and showing some weather guys at Yasukuni shrine this morning checking out the Sakura buds. They said that they would make an official announcement about whether Sakura have arrived or not this afternoon, and did so when they counted the buds. I think they said that they needed 5-6 buds. Anyone else catch that? Intriguing.

snowdude 44
The plum blossoms are blooming in Kofu much later than usual so I guess the sakura will be late also.
