Plucky 0
I'm very sorry to hear this. I've taken a lot of chances in my life, as have my friends and been lucky. I realy do weep for them. May they rest in peace.

Fattwins 0
Takasu in Gifu got about 150cms over 3 days was there. Slab avies everwhere form the first day of the trip. PS take care right now after this big a storm let the snow settle a bit please. Stay away from place you know could slide. Try to get avie updates when possible. A lot of the stuff around the resorts could go.
barok 0
Strange and now kinda sickening enough, I hiked up just below that ridge the morning after those deaths occurred, and the wind was absolutely out of control - nearly tossed me and my friends off the mountain. also sickening to me is that we found all of this gear scattered across the ridge - pieces of tent poles and kit bags, goggles, etc. I couldn`t figure out what it all was at the time, but now that I know I am sad and disturbed. but yeah props to all of those folks who do those treks and overnight stays - they are by far the most hardcore people on the mountains.
