muikabochi 208
All was quiet and then a disturbing kind of rumbling A bit like an earthquake. I was there already with my camera and able to get a few shots. More from Tenjin: http://www.snowjapan...h-january-2014/

NoFakie 45
Woah, big crown! Maybe the cornice dropped in the middle to trigger it. The cornice direction makes it look like it gets wind loaded, and from the light, it can't be far off south facing. Not a very safe place to play.

muikabochi 208
Even though I was quite long way off and safely standing at the top of a ski course, it was an odd feeling. The sound didn't help, it really did feel like an earthquake but without the moving thankfully. But yes looking at all the photos from yesterday there looks like a few large cracks that might move soon. Not that I'm in any way anything like an expert at these things.
