I wear a seatbelt, Mtn Bike helmet so it only seems logical and sensible to wear a skid lid while riding esp in the trees. I bought a UVEX helmet a few weeks ago for around $45. I really don't know all of the brands, but I know UVEX as been around for a while so it's gotta pretty good.
