BeerTengoku 35
san kan shi on. Three days cold, four days warm. An old Japanese proverb. Edited: because I am silly.

NoFakie 45
"Four days warm" desho. Not such a bad description of early spring weather in Japan. A kind of posh kids clothes shop uses it as their name written in numbers and romaji (3can4on) so I always wondered where it came from.
NoFakie 45
It hit 23 here this morning before droping 10oC in 1 hour then went up again a little then dropped again. Here, there was some freaky phenomenon where it got super windy from the west early on Sunday morning and the air temp jumped from 5C to 18C in one hour. It then got cold again, rained, and there was lightning at about 8am. I was away during the day so I don't know what happened after that. There was a hard freeze last night though. JellyBelly 1
On tv just now. Little to no chance of winter returning, and probably little spring this year. Record temps for March.
JellyBelly 1
They didn't mention Hakuba still being stuck in winter for 3 months, but I presume that's just taken for granted.

They warned back in January this year that march and april would be below average temps with above average snow!!!! They got that completely wrong though!!!!
