grungy-gonads 54
That is fun. We'll I'm enjoying exploring this ps4. New machines are always fun.
klingon 10
Things that always got me about Gran Turismo were: - the outrageously bad soundtrack, anonymous 80's 'rock' sounds. Stop it! - the car sounds, famously sounding more like lawnmowers than powerful cars. Have they fixed those things this time I wonder?
griller 9
Well put, Klingon. Sadly, those things seem to be unchanged.
surfarthur 22
Really enjoying NBA 2k12 - in particular the my career mode. Looking at getting assassins creed 4, anyone played this yet?
klingon 10
No but it has good reviews, I wouldn't mind having a go. Do they offer downloads of demos on the PS4 games yet?
brit-gob 9
Gran Turismo, or the version I played before, just lacked ---- fun. And fun is the reason I'd pick up a game. I remember enjoying Project Gotham Racing. What are the 'fun' racing games these days?
Karnidge 2
Imports of the upcoming Asian PS4 model seem much cheaper than US version for anyone tempted.
xxx 2
55000 yen, compared to 40000 yen when released?
pie-eater 207
Is 3 months worth 15000 yen. That is the question.
SheldonB 0
I got a PS4. It has the blue light problem. Phoned Sony up, they sent a box, I put it in the box, sent it back, got a new one within 5 days. Good service. New one works.
mina2 6
That's good to hear they are looking after people with issues.
BagOfCrisps 24
Let's face it, they'd be silly not to.
BagOfCrisps 24
Actually, are those initial issues sorted out now?
muikabochi 208
What exactly is the problem with the blue lights?
SheldonB 0
Well with mine, you turn the thing on and basically nothing happens - other than the pulsating blue light on the machine. No startup, no signal sent to tv, nothing. They seem to claim it was due to some kind of shipping issue, but I don't believe that. Mine was packed very well when it came. SheldonB 0
Yes it makes sense to give good customer support. After all, I'll be buying games for it over the next however many years.
grungy-gonads 54
That downloadable shooter is very addictive. Great game.
big-will 7
What games you got, Mr Gonads?
grungy-gonads 54
For the moment, Fifa. And that downloadable shooter game.
klingon 10
Well with mine, you turn the thing on and basically nothing happens - other than the pulsating blue light on the machine. No startup, no signal sent to tv, nothing. They seem to claim it was due to some kind of shipping issue, but I don't believe that. Mine was packed very well when it came. There was that story of some Chinese factory worker and an act of sabotage wasn't there? Delivery issues sounds like a very dubious reason for the blue light thing.
grungy-gonads 54
Yeah I think that was a silly story. As for the PS4 itself, and not that this really matters at all, but it's a bit plasticy feeling the machine itself. The controller on the other hand I think is a big improvement on the PS3 one. klingon 10
Had a go on Resogun. That is fun.
HoTRoD 2
Hey sorry this might have been discussed before but.... can you just plug in a US PS4 and use it straight off? No issues at all?
HoTRoD 2
I mean if you use it here in Japan
